Citroen BX 16v

H Reg Citroen bx (1990) - Same engine as Mi16 (1.9 Alloy block) and still drives well.

Registered in my name and I have the V5 along with all past MOT's.
Tax and MOT expire at the end of October
Covered 25000 miles (all motorway in the last 14 months)
Engine has never let me down
Milage reads 104500

Good points
  • Engine does NOT leak any oil or water and does NOT burn oil.
  • Serviced every 8000 miles
  • Cambelt/water pump changed in December 2005 by DES Developments
  • Hydrolic pump belt changed in September 2006
  • 2 new front tyres (Yoko 539's)
  • Good interior
  • Suspension still rises to its highest position

Bad points
  • Clutch cable has snaped
  • Sunroof leaks when it rains
  • Does not start, possibly due to a short in the electrics but was running fine up until 2 weeks ago
  • Cracked windscreen
The car is currently on my parents drive (where it is registered) so needs to go asap, looking to sell the car as a whole so will need picking up on a trailor.

Looking for £500 but not sensible offer refused.

Any inspection/questions welcome, PM or e-mail me.

Yes, I bought it off a member from the old bxowners forum back in July 2005, she's run pretty sweet ever since.

Clio, fancied something newer for a change.

Well she's still for sale. I'd like the car to live on rather than be sold for its engine but it needs to go.

SOMEONE SAVE THIS!!

Sincerely wish it could be me.

Doesn't sound like it needs more than a couple of hundred thrown at it to get it shipshape.

All it needs is:
1) New windscreen - current one is cracked from a stone
2) Clutch cable - I have a new one waiting to be fitted
3) A look at te electrics - I will have a look on Sunday

Its far too good to break, I have space for an engine in the garage but not a complete car!

hey guys
thats not alot at all, just the usual. windscreens get done free on most insurance he has a clutch cable and dodgy electrics are part of having a citroen. turn on indicators and the sub starts, all part of the fun.
