There's a few 205'ers who've been converted to the joys of BX'ing - carry a whole lot more stuff in 'em and still pretty rapidly! Jack Herrer I think kept his for a long time (think he's the bloke who wrapped his into a ball on a track day?!) plus a couple of others.....

Good on you dave! be nice to keep a good one on the road!
they do have the advantages over the 205! mainly that you can sit in supremem comfort cruising along the motorway with 4 mates in the car and a boot full of gear and float over all the bumps! yet, ditch your mates and hte gear and take it for a full on blast and get out with the biggest smile as no one expects the car to go half as quick as it does!:)

Well I got her going yesterday evening after knocking up some fuel lines and having the return pipe going into a jerry can!!!!!
She started well and sounded really strong with minimal smoke.
The suspension rose up like a really strong spring and all in under 20 seconds of first fire up. Not bad considering how long she has been stood
Still in two minds as of what to do as after going under it found a few more rotton areas. Im in no rush to do anything and fear not im not going to jump in and rip it to bits.
Going to have a good mull over this week

Only ever used Magnatec or similar matey.
